Yucca Trees are widely grown as decorative plants in gardens. After waking up to discover these beautiful blooms in my backyard, I can see why! The State Flower of New Mexico, this Yucca Flower is referred to as the Spanish Bayonet. Many of the Yucca Trees have been used in Native American rituals, bear edible parts, and have leaves that cut like a knife. Due to the razor sharp leaves, I used my EFS 55-250 mm macro 0.85/2.8 ft lens to zoom in. I used my Canon EOS 80D to capture this moment!
