It's 84 degrees right now in the hills of Hollywood. Earl The Squirrel found a shady place to hang in the jacaranda tree in my backyard. I used my Canon EOS 80D & EFS 55-250 mm macro 0.85/2.8 ft lens to capture this moment.

My love for these two reminds me that family is not always blood related! My boyfriend & I have been together for over 10 years! I love spending quality time with him & his mom. We're all artists so we have a lot in common. We all love to create, share art, laugh, hike, take walks by the beach & travel. I feel very lucky & blessed to have such amazing, loving, creative, supportive, honest, fun, like minded people in my life!

There are a lot of things going up in Los Angeles lately, including new buildings with expensive pricing for rent! With the amount of people living in LA & the lack of affordable housing on the rise, I see more people daily ending up homeless on the streets. I used my Canon EOS 80D & EFS 18-55 mm macro 0.25m/0.8 ft lens to capture this moment.

I went for a ride on the Metro from Hollywood to Downtown Los Angeles with my camera in hand. I was exiting the metro station when I saw the beautiful light shining down on everyone. As I captured this moment, I thought to myself, every day millions of people take the same steps to different lives. I used my Canon EOS 80D & EFS 18-55 mm macro 0.25m/0.8 ft lens.

More than 80% of the strawberries grown are harvested right here in California. Peak season is April-June and the strawberries right now taste fresh, juicy & perfectly ripe! There's nothing like picking your own strawberries right from the farms. I used my Canon EOS 80D & EFS 18-55 mm macro 0.25m/0.85 ft lens to capture this moment.

Yucca Trees are widely grown as decorative plants in gardens. After waking up to discover these beautiful blooms in my backyard, I can see why! The State Flower of New Mexico, this Yucca Flower is referred to as the Spanish Bayonet. Many of the Yucca Trees have been used in Native American rituals, bear edible parts, and have leaves that cut like a knife. Due to the razor sharp leaves, I used my EFS 55-250 mm macro 0.85/2.8 ft lens to zoom in. I used my Canon EOS 80D to capture this moment!
